CG 50/100 Cantic Lintel

We do not stock the IG L1/S 50 Lintel. However, we supply the CG 50/100 Catnic Lintel, which is suitable for the same cavity size and can be used as an alternative, subject to appropriate load and span requirements.

Both lintels are designed for 50-65mm cavity wall construction, but there are a few structural and performance differences to be aware of.

Why We Offer the CG 50/100 Instead

We do not stock the IG L1/S 50, the following CG 50/100 Catnic Lintel offers:

Performance & Construction Differences

Both lintels are designed for standard duty applications. The CG 50/100 should be selected in line with Catnic load/span tables to ensure suitability for the specific opening and loading conditions.

Corrosion Protection

Catnic lintels use a duplex corrosion protection system (galvanising plus an additional protective coating), which can provide enhanced durability in certain environments compared to standard galvanised finishes.

Structural Design
